I’m Boris, a Costa Rican illustrator working under the name Peco.

My work focuses on narrative and publishing illustration, drawing inspiration from literature, film, folklore, and imagined worlds. Whether creating original narratives or reinterpreting existing stories, I am drawn to moments of mystery, discovery, and human connection.

With a background in graphic design and animation, I bring a storytelling-driven approach to editorial, publishing, and narrative projects. My illustrations aim to engage readers of all ages, from middle grade audiences to adults, through stories rich in emotion, curiosity, and imagination.
